Fri, 17 Apr 26 - Presentation Night : This seasons presentation night will be held on Wednesday 10th June at Shafton. Note: The Championship final will also be held on the night. Food will be provided and teams must send a delegate to receive trophies/prize money or they will be forfeited.

Sun, 05 Apr 26 - Cudworth League AGM - Shafton WMC - New Season : A note to delegates. The next Cudworth league AGM meeting is on Wednesday (15th April). This will be a kick-off meeting to discuss the league format. any rule changes and general updates. Note: The venure for the meeting is Shafton WMC starts a 7pm.

Thu, 27 Nov 25 - Cudworth League - Presentation Night : To all Cudworth League players. This seasons presentation night will be held on Wednesday 3rd December at Shafton. Note: The Championship final will also be held on the night.

Mon, 06 Oct 25 - New League Season - Fixtures : The new league season is almost upon us, the first league match is Tuesday 21st Octoboer. The fixtures have been produced. Fri, 07 Feb 25 - Colin Green - Funeral : Colin's funeral will be held on Friday 28th February (10:40am) at Wakefield Crematorium.

Sun, 26 Jan 25 - Sad News - Colin Green : The league has been informed and we're sorry to report that Colin Green has passed away. A massive supporter of the Wakefield League, Colin played (and was captain) for Wrenthorpe for over 50 years. Having a friendly, cheerful personality, he'll be sadly missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

Mon, 18 Nov 24 - Cudworth Snooker League - Presentation Night : To all summer league players, the Cudworth Snooker League presentation night will be held at Shafton club on Wednesday 27th November.

Tue, 29 Oct 24 - Fixtures - A Slight Change To Thursday : A notice to delegates, due to an oversight, we've made a small change to the Thursday fixtures. So please double check, as this might affect you.

Mon, 21 Oct 24 - New League Season - Fixtures : The new league season is almost upon us, the first league match is Tuesday 5th November. But the competitions start W/C 28th October (Joffe Trophy). Please check and report any issues/errors.

Wed, 11 Sep 24 - Delegates Meeting : A notice to all delegates, in preparation for the new upcoming season. There will be a delegates meeting on Wednesday 25th September at Shafton Club (7:30 start). This will be used to discuss the league format, rule changes and any proposals.

Fri, 26 Jul 24 - John Spooner - Funeral : John's funeral will be held on Wednesday 7th August (12pm) at Crofton Church. Following the service, a celebration of John's life, will be held at Crofton WMC (around 1pm).

Mon, 15 Jul 24 - Sad News - John Spooner : The league has been informed and we're sorry to report that John Spooner has passed away. A massive supporter of the Wakefield League, John played for Crofton WMC and represented Wakefield in the Yorkshire League for many, many years. Having a big personality, he'll be sadly missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends at this difficult time.

Mon, 26 Feb 24 - Jamie Starkey - Funeral : Jamie's funeral will be held on Friday 8th March (10am) at Wakefield Crematorium, Standbridge Lane, WF4 3JA. A celebration of Jamie's life, will be held at St Michaels Snooker Club Wakefield following the service.

Jamie played (and was the delegate) for St Michaels Snooker Club for many years and a massive supporter of the Wakefield League. Having a friendly, cheerful personality, he'll be sadly missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
